Version 3.11.0 of the IECHost GUI client is now available within my Software page. Binaries are available for Windows (i686 and x86_64), macOS (x86_64), Linux (x86_64 and armv7l).

This is a minor update for a few enhancements:

• Relaxed the check to detect inward shifted tracks ahead of offering a shift outwards
• Updated the user manual to clarify how track shifting impacts sector re-reads

Details of the changes are also available through the issue tracker.

Do have a look at the last section of the user manual, Shifted track data and re-reads. Its contents shed some light on how crucial it is to ensure track alignment is correct before re-reading sectors with errors.
