BT-ECG
(a Bluetooth®-based ECG Monitoring tool)
The program
BT-ECG is an experimental program I wrote in 2004 (from the 23th to the 25th
of July) for a work of Thesis at the Biomedical Engineering Unit in
the Dept. of Electronic Engineering of the University of Naples "Federico II".
Its purpose is to display an enhanced ECG waveform directly on a PC (running MS
Windows® 98, ME, 2000 or XP) screen and provide some detailed information (as
global parameters and automatic diagnostic warnings).
The applied parts are not directly connected to a PC, but data is
transmitted/received by using a Bluetooth®-based (wireless) hardware.
This program can work in two modes:
Here there are some screenshots of the actual aspect of this program:
![]() Default window |
![]() ECG sampled with a frequency of 250 Hz (H:100 ms/div) [Get sample ECG files] |
![]() ECG sampled with a frequency of 125 Hz (H:200 ms/div - default value) [Get sample ECG files] |

You can download the last version (0.2.9) of this
software here.
Some sample ECG files to use with this software are available here.
